Founders

Welcome to Snowgums Group, a hallmark of hospitality and property management excellence. At the helm is our company founder, Mark Smith and Nicole Beaumont (owner and partner in Snowgums Property Services), whose passions and expertise have propelled us to great heights.

Mark Smith, overseeing Commercial Functions and Blogs, including Snowgums BNB, brings a wealth of experience as an Airbnb Ambassador, Super Host, Community Leader, and Airbnb Coach. His background in hospitality started in 1985, has a law degree, an MBA, exporter, business consultant and blog plus operated a large labour hire firm each in some way has been instrumental in establishing Snowgums Group as a distinguished name in the Hospitality Space.

Nicole Beaumont owns and operates Snowgums Property Services, skillfully managing operations in Central West NSW and spearheading its expansion into the Blue Mountains and Nepean/Western Sydney regions, starting February 2024.

HISTORY - OUR STORY

Our story began in 2016 when Mark purchased the inaugural Snowgums Property.

This marked the start of a transformative journey into the world of Airbnb.

Mark's role evolved rapidly from Superhost to NSW Central West Host Community Leader, Airbnb Ambassador, and eventually an Airbnb Partner and Experienced Co-Host.

Mark's passion for Airbnb now extends into Western Sydney and the Lower Blue Mountains, where he recently became the Community Leader for the Airbnb Western Sydney Host Community.  

In 2022, Mark formed a partnership with MEAS Central Services (the area's leading Property Services company) leading to the formation of Snowgums BNB Management (Snowgums BNB), providing comprehensive Airbnb Property Management in Orange, NSW.

Following the ill-health of MEAS' founder, Mark acquired MEAS and, together with Nicole, has been dedicated to stabilizing and growing the MEAS business.

Snowgums BNB - in addition to its business in Orange - now has its first Property Management's in the Blue Mountains and Nepean areas coming online on 5 February 2024 so watch this space.  

Vision 

Mark’s vision extends beyond merely running a property management company; he aims to elevate the entire hospitality experience. His interests also include fine foods and other entrepreneurial ventures.

Nicole’s vision complements this by striving to offer comprehensive property services that cater to hospitality, residential, and commercial clients. Her patience and people skills are foundational in building a Property Services team capable of realizing these ambitious goals.

Rebranded Property Services

We are excited to share with you the evolution of our Property Services brand away from MEAS Central Services.  From 22 January 2024, we are updating our Property Services name to Snowgums Property Services, which reflects our commitment to sustainability and the evergreen nature of our operations.

Snowgums brand Origins

Inspired by the native Eucalyptus canobolensis*, also known as silver-leaf candlebark, which is found and thrives exclusively in our region only metres from the original Snowgums property, the name Snowgums represents:

our roots while symbolizing our aspirations for future growth and adaptability.

We are actively exploring opportunities to expand our presence in Katoomba and Western Sydney starting in February 2024 in addition to serving clients in Bathurst, Mudgee, Dubbo, Parkes together with other regions of NSW - specifically in Western Sydney throughout 2024.
